If you can’t see the bottom, you are too deep! Don’t believe me? Just try to troll a Coastal Cutthroat Trout where the water doesn’t move freely. Even the most seasoned of fly fisherman would be lucky to get a nip! I mean, it’s even in their name! Coastal, as in the Pacific Coast where all four forms of this trout reside. They are not the most “cutthroat” of catch with their average size only being in the three pound range. That designation is due to the distinctive markings on the undersides of their mandibles. Be distinctive yourself with this one piece!
We love trout at Gill McFinn's™; in fact we have collectively caught an uncountable amount of trout in every species. The Coastal Cutthroat is one of many subspecies and spends most of its time in saltwater tributary systems and rivers off the Pacific Coastline. For trout, this species is a bit smaller but, definitely worth the catch just like this fishing Romper.
