A 1945 ad in Sporting Life proclaimed Multer's Little Bully to be "Ground Zero" for the fishing world that year. One of the heaviest lures to ever hit the market, this little baby originally weighed in at 8OZ and was a full 3 inches long. Originally painted red and yellow with a striped pattern on the base, it was a handsome pick for the avid fishermen returning from the war. Casting could be a problem and many anglers found that letting out some line and hand-tossing the lure like a grenade could be effective. Many fish were caught with this lure by simply knocking them senseless as the Little Bully conked them on the head.
