In 1946, after searching for more evidence of the Thylacine or Tasmanian Tiger which supposedly went extinct in 1936; Famed Explorer Jibmo "Arms" Meyers and his good friend and fishing expert Prof. McFinn, teamed up in Tasmania Island off the southern coast of Australia. McFinn was fishing for evidence of the legendary Australian Glitter Eel and decided to travel the Island with Meyers. After nine days of searching and fishing both men were weary, tired and discouraged that either of them would find what they were looking for. After taking shelter in a cabin near a salt-water lake, McFinn fell asleep with his fishing pole on the ground. The Hatteras Hornet lure shining in the sunset attracted a fire-orange beast that was larger than both the Tasmanian Devil and the Thylacine. With roars that sounded like explosions, Meyers ran out of the cabin and started shooting photographs. The flash scared the beast off and the photos came out like crap and the Tasmanian Fire Bear they called it, was never seen again.
