5 Must-Have Onesies For the Millennial Mom
There’s a lot of things happening in the news lately. It makes you question what kind of world baby is coming into.
The government seems to be chasing its' own tail while the country watches with bated breath. With the recent protests for woman’s rights, a lot of changes have been happening.
We're sure feminist greats like Simone de Beauvoir and Gloria Steinem would be proud of the strides being made today.
Times are definitely changing, and hopefully for the better.
And luckily for baby, they have a #nastywoman for a mom.
2.) Shabby Farmhouse Chic
I know I’m not the only one who is adoring the vintage and simple charm of the trendiest styles of late. The wood accents, heather grays, natural textures, and adorable upcycling bring a new charm to nearly everything in life.
There’s nothing like a nicely written on chalkboard paint wall to make a place really come to life.
And now you can put that same vibe right on the little one.
This literally “adorable” onesie has a minimalist font with sweet little arrows and comes in the same pastels and medium gray that I’ve been planning to reupholster my couches with.
3.) The Coffee Shop Special
How would we get it all done without a caffeine jolt in the morning? So many places are starting to up their coffee game from cold brew to vegan lattes. The options are seemingly endless.
I know it can be tempting to just run through a convenience store for a hot bean water, but this could be the perfect opportunity to really treat yourself. You deserve a five dollar cup of coffee every once in a while!
Hit up your favorite java spot with the little one in this sweet little onesie.
We’re not opposed to matcha either.
4.) Generation Avocado
If you’re the one millennial momma not affected by the avocado craze… you’re going to be now! Get the little one into this irresistibly cute onesie, and snuggle up on the couch for an early brunch (aka the 4 am feeding).
You can’t get away from the Instagram posts of avocado toast and fancy brunches if you tried. It may be worth the hype, especially now in the summer and those nice Hass avocados will be ready for snacking!
You can always try a halved avocado with your favorite salad dressing or some salsa poured right into the hole where the seed comes out.
5.) Eat Local Veggies
The summer is a great time to try to make it out to your local farmers market or produce stand. Take the little one with you, and maybe even go pick your own.
The best way to create a sense of responsibility for what you eat and where it comes from is to actually go experience it for yourself. To see where your food comes from might inspire your little one to make healthier (and maybe less meaty) choices down the road.
Plop your little sweet pea into this sweet pea onesie and go pick some sweet peas!
